Hakerl

Terms of Use

Hakerl app and hakerl.weinmayr.co

1. Scope

These terms apply to the Hakerl app for iPhone and iPad and to this website, provided by Christian Weinmayr, Austria (see the imprint). In addition, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) applies to the app. If these terms and the Standard EULA conflict, the Standard EULA prevails unless mandatory law says otherwise.

2. What Hakerl does

Hakerl helps you plan with checklists. You can create lists by hand, start from example lists, or let an AI model suggest a checklist and improvements based on what you type. You can share lists with other people through iCloud.

3. AI suggestions

Checklists and improvements are generated automatically by an AI model. They may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for your situation. Please check every list before you rely on it — especially items concerning safety, health, medication or babies and children. AI suggestions are not professional, medical or safety advice. You are responsible for what you type into the app and for the lists you create and share.

4. Free version, Premium and subscriptions

5. Fair use

Premium includes up to 30 AI actions per day (new checklists and improvements together). Please don’t misuse the app or our server — for example by automated requests, trying to get around the limits, or using the AI for content that is unlawful or harmful. We may limit or block access in case of misuse.

6. Shared lists

You decide whom you invite to a list. Everyone you invite can see and change it. Please only share what you are happy for those people to see, and remove people from a list if they should no longer have access.

7. Availability and changes to the service

The AI features need an internet connection. We may change the AI model or provider used to create suggestions, as long as the features keep working as described. We provide Hakerl with care but cannot guarantee that it is always available or error-free.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for personal injury. For slight negligence we are liable only as far as mandatory law requires. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Changes and applicable law

We may update these terms when the app changes; the current version is always available here. Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; if you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain applicable.
